Three Susquehanna Health nurses recently were recognized as recipients of the DAISY Award for extraordinary nurses.
Amy Bissett, a nurse with Divine Providence Hospital's Behavioral Health Services, and Stephanie Guay, a nurse with Susquehanna Health's Joint Center, were selected after being nominated by patients. Connie Coyner, a nurse with Muncy Valley Hospital's Medical/Surgical Unit, was selected after being nominated by her co-workers.
A nurse from each Lycoming County Susquehanna Health campus is selected every quarter. Anyone may nominate a nurse for a DAISY award - a co-worker, patient, patient's family or physician. Nomination forms are available at nursing stations and at SusquehannaHealth.org/DAISY.
