On Monday night, the Loyalsock Township Board of Supervisors adopted its 2014 budget.
The property tax for next year will remain at 0.7 mills.
Several taxes were reenacted for 2014, including the business privilege tax, which will stay at .75 mill, and the wholesale tax, at .5 mill.
The only major change from the 2013 budget is the lack of sewer expenses, now that the Williamsport Sanitary Authority has taken control of the township's sewage system, eliminating equipment and personnel fees for the township, township Manager Bill Burdett said.
The budget also includes $200,000 to fund the Loyalsock Community Center on Four Mile Drive. The building will feature a rec center as well as administrative offices for the school district.
That same amount was budgeted for the 2013 budget, but the project never got underway.
"We may not end up using those funds again this year," Burdett said. "We're still hoping to receive some grant money before we start the project."
The next supervisors meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at the township building, 2501 E. Third St.
