Additional charges have been filed in the criminal case that resulted in the capture earlier this month of New Jersey fugitive Ikei Jyon Harding, who was apprehended inside an apartment at 1545 Northway Road, state police said.
When state troopers nabbed the 25-year-old Harding at Deon Jordan Henderson and Keyonna Renee Parker's apartment on Dec. 5, they seized a handgun with an altered or obliterated serial number as well as packaged marijuana ready for sale.
Harding, of 400 Glenwood Ave., was jailed automatically that night on a fugitive warrant charging him with allegedly shooting to death a New Jersey man in Newark, N.J., in mid-June.
Henderson, 22, also was jailed that night on charges of possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy.
Police now have charged Harding and Parker, 21, with those same felonies and misdemeanors.
Harding was recommitted to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of an additional $500,000 bail.
Parker was released on $25,000 bail.
