United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, the Rev. Dr. John Charnock, director of Mission Integration and Ethics for Susquehanna Health, will speak. He also serves as the chairman of United Churches Ecumenism Committee and will help us celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity as he shares about "Faith Forums: Christians Seeking Unity in Christ." A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
