Pennsylvania College of Technology's Web and interactive media major is revealed through the eyes of Zane R. Sensenig, Mountville, in the latest video added to the college's YouTube Channel.
Sensenig, a junior, reveals the Web-design process in the four-and-a-half minute video, http://youtu.be/B42zi7RnCCQ, and highlights attributes of the bachelor-degree major. A Dean's List student, Sensenig describes Web design as an "awesome" experience in which hard work results in a live site on the Internet.
Interactive media students integrate diverse skills in Web design and development, interactive marketing, social networking, digital communications, audio and video production, digital publishing, and production to create interactive, user-defined products and services. Positions for graduates of the major include website design and development, social media marketing, instructional technologies, mobile development, app development and digital publishing.
Christopher J. Goodwin, of Jericho, Vt., shot, produced and edited the video featuring Sensenig. Goodwin is a Web and interactive media major and serves as a student video production assistant in the College Information and Community Relations Office.
