James D. Robinson, aka Boomer, 42, of Williamsport, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014.
He was born Jan. 28, 1971, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of William James Harvey and Nancy Marie Robinson-Westbrooks.
James was a member of the Bethel AME Church.

He was employed by Denny's restaurant for more than five years. Prior to that, he was employed by Giant Food Market.
James was a talented artist, musician, and rapper who always had a smile.
He had a big heart and was very generous to his family, friends and those in need.
James enjoyed playing and telling jokes on those close to him.
Surviving are his mother, Nancy M. Robinson-Westbrooks; six sisters, Lou Shar M. Robinson, Alexandria, Elizabeth, Jessica, Whitney Harvey and Melisa Reinard; and one brother, Christopher Jenkins, all of Williamsport. Along with the brother and sisters, he is survived by his one-of-a-kind niece, Shamarya M. Robinson.
Relatives and friends are invited to James' Life Celebration memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Bethel AME Church, 601 Hepburn St. Family will receive friends and family from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
