United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, Capt. Debbie Engle, auxiliary captain of the Salvation Army of Williamsport, will speak about the ministry of the Salvation Army as it meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people of all ages. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how to prepare.
