Henry Howard Williams, 58, of Antes Fort, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 3, 1955, in Jersey Shore, he was a son to William F. Jr. and Jane B. (Button) Williams.
Henry attended Antes Fort Grade School, graduated in 1974 from Jersey Shore High School, and attended Penn College. He was formerly employed at Jersey Shore School District and the Hammermill Paper Co. Henry currently worked in maintenance at Lock Haven University. He attended Antes Fort United Methodist Church.
He was an avid fisherman, and his greatest catch was a 23-inch Native trout in the Susquehanna River. He loved hunting and camping at the river lot. Henry adored being a Pappy to his grandchildren, had a big heart, and could lit up any room. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife, the former Joyce M. Hillyard, whom he wed on April 6, 1991; a daughter, Jennifer L. (Alexander) Mundis, of Etters, Pa.; a son, Abram F. Williams, of Lock Haven; stepson, Jeffery (Amy) Frye, of Curwensville; two grandchildren, William and Emma Rose Mundis; a stepgranddaughter, Ally; brother, William F. III (Donna) Williams, of Ridgewood, N.J.; and a sister, Susan W. (Chalmers) Smith, of Furnace, Pa.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Antes Fort United Methodist Church, 19 Fourth St., Jersey Shore, with the Rev. Stevan Atanasoff officiating.
