Lycoming County Commissioners approved a bank loan revision Thursday for the Williamsport Regional Airport terminal and the Lycoming Valley Railroad Bridge at Loyalsock Creek.
The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Bank Loan Agreement was amended from $12.6 million to $10.5 million.
While about $7 million is set aside for the terminal project, the entirety of that amount may not be needed, William Kelly, deputy director of county Planning and Community Development, said previously.
While the airport terminal project should be completed by fall 2016, the railroad bridge, which is replacing a span severely damaged by flood waters from Tropical Storm Lee in 2011, is expected to be completed by this summer.
In other business, the commissioners approved the dispersement of Human Services Development funds for several human services agencies for July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014:
$20,000 for Confer Home Health Services LLC for adult homemaker services
$10,000 for American Rescue Workers' emergency shelter services
$10,000 for YWCA's Liberty House's emergency shelter services
$4,000 for Jersey Shore Summer Recreation program for life skills education services
Lycoming County receives $114,000 annually from the state in Human Services Development funds, and the county contracts out to various agencies for the services, said Mark Egly, county Children and Youth Services administrator.
