Mary D. Tolomei, 87, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at The Williamsport Home.
Born June 29, 1926, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Achille and Oliva DePolis Tolomei.
Mary was employed as a seamstress at Glamorise. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and the former Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, where she was a member of the choir, the Christian Women and Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are a sister, Edith Abate; a brother, Anthony Tolomei, both of Williamsport; and nieces and nephews, Linda (Joseph) Adams, Carol (Christopher) Kronenwetter, Mary Ann (Keith) Bauer, Joseph Abate and Victor (Nellie) Abate.
She was preceded in death by siblings Lawrence, Rocco and Victoria Tolomei.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., with Rev. Brian VanFossen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 711 W. Edwin St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
