Viola M. Lukens, 65, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at The Gatehouse.
She was born June 13, 1948, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late William T. and Esther Mae (Stetts) Lukens.
Viola attended Faith Alliance Church.
She loved being together with family, going to work, shopping and eating out.
Viola was just honored for 35 years service at Hope Enterprise.
Survived by a brother, Rolland L. Lukens, of Williamsport; six sisters, Ann Romans, of Grove City, Ohio, Esther Baker and Connie Harstead, both of Williamsport, Betty Farroux, of Jeannette, Pa., Maxine Lopez, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Barbara DeCoursey, of Trout Run.
She was predeceased by a brother, William E. Lukens.
Relatives and friends are invited to Viola's Life Celebration service at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Chaplain Mary Lou Matthews officiating. A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery.
