Anne (Anna Jane Lindauer) Craft, 89, of Colonia, N.J., died on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, in the Mary Ann Hale Pavillion of Haven Hospice in JFK Medical Center, Edison, N.J.
Anna was born in Watsontown to the late Stanley and Lillian Lindauer. She was number 7 of their 14 children. She had lived in Hillside, N.J., for a while before residing in Colonia 59 years ago.
Anne held many jobs in her life but mostly enjoyed selling her things at flea markets and having yard sales. When she was younger she liked campaigning for the local Democratic Party and knitting and crocheting in her spare time. Most days you could find her at home doing her own yard work and gardening, she loved being outside. And when the weather was bad and she was stuck inside he loved sitting and doing crossword puzzles.
Anne is predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Leo L. Craft She is survived by her son, Wayne Craft and his wife, Laurie, of Keene, Va.; her daughter, Diane Lucas and her husband, Steve, of Melbourne, Fla.; one brother, Earl Lindauer and two sisters, Shirley Lindauer Rupert and Peggy Lindauer Birde, all of Watsontown; and sister, Nancy Reibsome, of Sotas, N.Y. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by four brothers, Lawrence, Fred, William and Clair, and five sisters Sylvia Martin, Thelma Fisher, Julia Ditzler, Arla Stamm and Betty Hill.
