Lois P. Wilkins, 83, of DuBoistown, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at her home.
Born July 12, 1931, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Harry M. and Thelma J. (Caulkins) Paulhamus.
Lois was a 1949 graduate of Red Lion High School and later graduated from nursing school at Union Memorial Hospital. She worked as a nurse at Divine Providence Hospital and The Williamsport Home.
She was a member of St. John's-Newberry United Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed making dolls, quilts and sketching.
Surviving are two sons, James M. (Susan) Wilkins, of New Castle, Mark S. Wilkins, of Watsontown; two grandchildren; sister, Annie (Bob) Creed, of Palmyra, Va.; and brother, H. Melvin Paulhamus Jr. of Arizona.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, James U. Wilkins in 2010 and son, John Wilkins.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at St. John's-Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., with The Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lois' name to St. Johns-Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or Susquehanna Hospice, 110 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport.
