United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, Carol Sides, president of the Lycoming and Clinton Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), will talk about the group's work to educate, advocate and support individuals, family members, providers and the general public about mental illness. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
