Anthony J. "Rampy" Rampulla Sr., of Williamsport, died Feb. 19, 2014, at Valley View Nursing Center Montoursville.
Anthony was born in Williamsport on May 6, 1926, the son of Fillippo and Sebastiona Leta Rampulla.
He is a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and a former member of Mater Dolorosa Church. He was employed as a Senior Line Man for PPL for over 39 years retiring at age 60. Rampy was a member of the original Son's of Italy Lodge and the Eagles Lodge as well as the Y.M.C.A., all in Williamsport. He frequented the local restaurants: Burger King, McDonald's and Wegmans for a weekly coffee clutch with friends. Anthony enjoyed playing cards, as well as enjoying both college and professional basketball and football. He was very generous with his time, helping both family and friends. A World War II Navy veteran, he served aboard the U.S.S. Mason.

Anthony is survived by his sons, Anthony J. (Heidi) Rampulla Jr. and Michael A. (Cheryl) Rampulla, both of Williamsport and Frank A. (Reba) Rampulla, of the Harrisburg area. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His was preceded in death by his wife, Nataline A. "Nat" Rampulla; daughter, Maria A. Rampulla; brothers, Joseph, Benjamin, Philip, and John Rampulla; and his sisters, Nancy DiSalvo, Libby Bellott and Rose Bower.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
