WELLSBORO - When Galeton's Dakota Shadle went to the locker room mid-way through the fourth quarter with an apparent leg injury; Galeton fans began to worry about their star player and began to wonder if their team would reach states for the first time since 2003. Minutes later, like Clark Kent emerging from a phone booth, Shadle emerged from the locker room to score 11 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead Galeton to a district medal and a berth in the PIAA state playoffs with a 57-46 overtime win over NTL-II champion Mansfield Saturday afternoon at Wellsboro. Galeton will play District 11 champion Mahanoy Area at a District 11 site to be determined on Friday.
