United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday Carolyn Hawk, the director of fundraising and community relations for the Lycoming County United Way, will discuss the 211 non-emergency calling system and why one might want to use it. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
