Rummage sale scheduled
SALLADASBURG - The Salladasburg Area Cancer Kickers will hold a rummage and bake sale at the Salladasburg United Methodist Church, 310 Main St., from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Proceeds are donation only for Relay for Life.
Rummage, soup sale set
QUIGGLEVILLE - St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 1807 St. Michael's Road, will hold its spring rummage sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and vegetable soup sale at the church, and Relay for Life rummage sale at Quiggleville Community Hall. Soup by the quart is $5, ready for pickup between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
LAIRDSVILLE - St. Mark's Church, 6 miles east of Hughesville on Route 118, will hold a spaghetti dinner, with takeouts, from 3-7 p.m. to benefit Adam Herr. Free-will donations accepted.
Baked steak supper
DuBoistown United Methodist Church, 133 Summer St., will hold a baked steak supper from 4-6 p.m. Takeouts will be available from 3-4 p.m. only. Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children 3 to 10 and free for those under 3.
Lasagna dinner set
Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., will hold a lasagna dinner from 4-6:30 p.m. Takeouts are available. Cost is $9 for adults and $5.50 for children 12 and younger, or $6.50 for lasagna only.
New Covenant United Church of Christ, 202 E. Third St., will hold its bi-annual rummage sale from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the church fellowship hall.
Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St., will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Soup sale scheduled
TIVOLI - A soup sale will be held at Tivoli United Methodist Church from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. featuring ham and bean, chicken corn and vegetable beef soups, which will be sold by the quart and by the bowl. A lunch will be served and baked goods will be for sale. The church is 2 miles north of Picture Rocks at 9598 Route 220.
Walk for Water 2014
The Annual Stations of the Cross Pilgrimage to raise $7,500 for clean drinking water and sanitation projects for two communities in Nicaragua will begin with registration at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish Fleming Center, 720 W. Fourth St., followed by an 8 1/2-mile walk to St. Lawrence Church in South Williamsport, St. Ann Church in Loyalsock Township, St. Boniface Church on Washington Boulevard and back to St. Joseph the Worker. Easter egg hunt set

Open house scheduled
COGAN STATION - An open house at the newly renovated Meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 82 Rader Ave., will be held from 1-4 p.m.
MAINESBURG - The men at Mainesburg United Methodist Church, Route 6, will hold a buffet dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. A bake table will benefit the Seeds of Hope, as does the dinner.
'The Mystery of God' drama set
"The Mystery of God," a drama, will be presented at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church, 5329 Lycoming Mall Drive in Montoursville. The play is a representation of Christ's journey to the cross, starting with the Passover meal and ending with the events that took place on the evening of the Last Supper. It is based on the scriptural events, and compiled, arranged and narrated by Elmer Fritz, a former minister of First Christian Church. Due to the solemn nature of the drama the audience will be asked to exit the church in silence at the end of the play. Craft fair, collectible show
South Williamsport United Methodist Church, 409 Main St., will hold its annual craft and sports memorabilia event to benefit the missions to Honduras from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. At noon, the Hunter Family will perform and at 1 p.m. Suzie Showers will present a Patsy Cline tribute.
Puppet dinner theater
MILTON - The Kingdom Kidz Inc. will offer a Puppet Dinner Theater at First Baptist Church, 319 Golf Course Road, at 12:30 p.m. A free Easter meal prepared by Jim Hilner, of The Checkered Flag Restaurant, will be served in the church fellowship hall. At 1:30 p.m., the puppet team will give its Easter presentation, which will feature songs, skits and creative movement.
Old fashioned hymn sing

Seder meal scheduled
Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., will hold a seder meal at 6 p.m. Marv Hurwitz, from Temple Ohev Sholom, will give a presentation on the symbolism of a traditional Seder meal.
