Franklin D. "Jr" Adams Jr., 58, of 1010 Louisa St., Williamsport, passed away Friday, April 3, 2014, at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital.
He was born Nov. 21, 1956, in Lewisburg, a son of Franklin D. Sr. and Beverly J. Kragle Adams.
Jr had worked at Grumans, Shop Vac and J&R's. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran, having served 8 years and was a member of the American Legion.
He was predeceased by his father.
Jr is survived his mother, Beverly J., of Williamsport; his wife of 26 years, the former Karen L. Walker; a son, Brock D. (Tammy), of Montoursville; a brother, Kenneth W. Adams, of Scranton; and three grandchildren, Joseph O'Shea, Cheyenne and Cameron Newpher.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Montoursville Brethren in Christ Church, 105 Fairview Court, Montoursville. A gathering will be held after the service at the 5th Avenue Tavern in Williamsport.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Karen L. Adams of Williamsport, c/o a fund at M&T Bank, 450 Broad St., Montoursville, to help defray expenses.
