According to the conservative justices of the Supreme Court of the United States money has First Amendment rights. Money has free speech rights. Money talks.
All this time the right wing Bible thumpers were not consulting a 'burning bush' but were actually dipping into their pockets and holding money in their hands and listening to it instead. Money talks to and speaks for them.
Of course, this means that those with the most money have the loudest talkers. Those with little money have the softest talkers. This also means that speech is limited by the amount of wealth a person has.
This ruling shows how much the right wing in America sees that privilege as having constitutional rights. That all men are not equal. That the aristocracy and wealthy have more rights to speech.
The right wing believes in elitism of privilege and wealth. If you can afford a car and get a drivers license you can be allowed to vote. If you can not afford a car and get a driver's license you will have to work harder to be able to vote. If you can not afford health care you are just going to have to work while ill and harder in order to afford it.
This is how the right wing in America sees the Constitution, only those who can afford can have rights in this country. The quantity and quality of rights bestowed on you by the Constitution of the United States depends on how loud your money speaks.
