United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, the Rev. Gwen Bernstine, executive director of United Churches of Lycoming County, will speak about our Holy Week journey, looking more closely at some of the things Jesus saw those last days before his crucifixion. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
