Theodore S. "Ted" Clark, 65, of Jersey Shore passed away, Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Gatehouse.
He was born May 27, 1920, in Jersey Shore, the son of Floyd and Rose (Wickland) Clark.
Ted was the husband of the late Betty (Lehman) Clark with whom he shared 65 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2011.

He was an U.S. Army veteran with the 29th Infantry Reconnaissance and was among many who hit the beaches on June 6, 1944, when allied forces invaded Normandy, France. His duty also included time in Germany and then Holland.
Ted was a member of the Oval United Methodist church.
Over the years he had been employed by the Allegheny Creamery in Jersey Shore, Met Fabrications, Avco Lycoming and had owned his own construction business.
Ted was a former member of the Billy O. Brandt VFW #5859.
He enjoyed hunting, Harley Davidson motorcycles and his shop. He did a cross-country motorcycle run to California and back in the early 90s.
Ted is survived by two daughters, Rose (Randy) Kopelcheck of Milton and Linda (Theodore) Szuhaj of Jersey Shore; three sons, Timothy R. (Linda) Clark of Jersey Shore, Scott (Kathy) Clark of Salladasburg and Daniel Clark of Jersey Shore; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Theodora "Teddy" Hendershot; a grandson, Joshua D. Hendershot; three sisters, Alberta, Peggy and Helen; and four brothers, Elwood, Marvin, Lowellen and Howard.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ted's Life Celebration service 11 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home" 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore with Rev. Wanda Minnich officiating. A visitation will be from 10 a.m., until 11 a.m.. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
