Anthony M. "Tony" Formica, 75, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital. He is survived by his wife Gloria J. (Houser) Formica.
Born April 23, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Anthony M. Sr., and Bertha M. (Telfer) Formica.
Anthony was employed by the Syntex Company and retired as a supervisor from Trimtex Company of Williamsport. He was a member of All Saints Memorial Episcopal Church, Williamsport. Anthony enjoyed gardening, fishing and especially painting.

Surviving in addition to his wife Gloria, are daughters, Kim (Rusty) Formica, of Williamsport, Mary Christine (Bryan) Williams, of Williamsport, Kelly Formica, of Jersey Shore, and Laura (Jeff) Sponenberg, of Jersey Shore; stepdaughters, Ida Mae (Mike) Coleman, of Muncy, Jacqueline (Zeno) Martinez, of Williamsport, Karen Gair, of South Williamsport; stepson, Walter L. Gair, of Williamsport; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Elvera R. (Jack) Peck, of DuBoistown; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mary C. Formica, of Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Alphonse R. Formica, and granddaughter, Kelly Sponenberg.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in All Saints Memorial Episcopal Church, 510 Beeber St., Williamsport. Interment will be in Montoursville Cemetery, Montoursville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 21 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday April, 22, at the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.
