I have just read the article on Climate Change which was printed on page 1 of the April 22 edition.
The reporter cited Michael Mann as his "expert" on climate issues.
In the body of the article, Mann is quoted as saying that "no all-time records were broken anywhere in the United States this year."
If the reporter had bothered to check local Williamsport temperature records, as maintained by the National Weather Service, low temperature records have been broken four times in the last 12 months: 8/15/13- 47 degrees F, 1/7/14- -5 degrees F, 2/12/14- -7 degrees F, 3/27/14- 13 degrees F.
So, the reporter's article does not qualify as journalism, and should have appeared on the editorial page. As for Mr. Mann, it appears that he doesn't know what he's talking about.
