Betty J. Jarrett, 55, of Glenville, left the Earth peacefully and went to walk with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Hershey Medical Center.
Born February 19, 1959, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of William D. and Edith M. (Mundrick) Jarrett.
Betty was a former member of the Red Hat Society, and previously attended Trinity Gospel Church in Williamsport.

She enjoyed crafting, fishing, camping, and loved the outdoors. Betty was a great friend to everyone.
Surviving are her father, William, of York; two brothers, John Jarrett (Ruby,) of York, and William D. Jarrett Jr., of Ohio; two sisters, Mary E. Martin (Ronald) of Carlisle, and Joan M. Johnson, of Linden; ten nieces, Jennifer, Christina, Rachel, Tori, Lydia, Kara, Crystal, Sheila, Tricia, and Amy; a nephew, Todd; many great-nieces and nephews; and her cat, Cuddles.
She was preceded in death by her mother in 1992.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will be held at Trout Run Cemetery. A viewing will be held 10 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer.
