Lois H. Buzzard, 93, of 7315 State Route 31, Cicero, N.Y., died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Sunnyside Care Center, E. Syracuse, N.Y.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1920, in Williamsport, the daughter of Frank and Minnie Dittman Huber.
Lois lived in Williamsport/Montoursville area most of her life, graduating from Williamsport High School in 1938. She later lived in Utica, N.Y. for several years; Titusville, Fla., for 18 years; and has lived in Cicero for the last 2 years.

She first worked as a graphic artist in Williamsport, and later in the cafeteria at the Four Mile Elementary School in Loyalsock Township for many years. While in Florida, she worked as a hostess and decorator at the NY NY On The River restaurant in Titusville for 16 years.
Lois enjoyed crafting most of her life, camping, but mostly loved her family and spending time with them.
Lois married Victor A. Buzzard on Feb. 14, 1945, in Vero Beach, Fla. Victor died on Dec. 25, 1994.
Surviving are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen Buzzard and Susan Fredlund, of Titusville, Fla., and Mark and Susan Buzzard, of Cicero, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Brett Buzzard, Sean Maestas, Mark E. Buzzard, Cody Buzzard, and Shane Buzzard; seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 7 to 8 pm. at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James St., Canastota, N.Y. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 2 at Montoursville Cemetery, Montoursville. The Rev. Kenneth R. Elkin, Pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Williamsport, will officiate.
