On April 27, I read a piece on Yahoo of how some citizens of America are giving up their Citizenship. Most were due to high taxation while living in, and earning money, in another country. Do you think this is right?
When this country first began, citizens from England fled their birth nation because of double taxation. Therefore, I suppose you could acquaint that today with the birth of this nation. However, when a person is born in the United States of America and does not like the way it is, then they should stay and try to make a difference. We need to stop being lazy and cowards. God gave us the greatest gift any human being ever could receive by being born in the USA. Why then when the going gets tough do we run to a place we believe will be better? I believe it is not.
I stand up for the United States of America and this great gift God gave me, and I will never desert this nation. When the going gets tough, I will become tougher. For this reason, I started the Mansfield Tea Party. I am concerned about too high taxes, fraud in elections, politicians who tell us what we want to hear instead of the truth, and that our votes do not count. It seems that many believe this, too. However, pulling the covers over our heads is not the answer. The only reward we receive from that is similar to being dead and buried in a plot of ground; we will never be bothered again!
The Mansfield Tea Party's slogan is lyrics from a song years ago; "United We Stand, Divide We Fall." I will do everything I can to see this does not happen so my baby nieces will always be free. How about you? Will you fight for this great nation, too? Do you fear what will happen to the youngest in your family?
