Cecilia Tironie, of Hughesville, celebrated her 90th birthday earlier this month with a party thrown by her sister-in-law, Margaret "Peg" English.
Tironie, more commonly referred to as "Bunny" or "Cece" by loved ones, celebrated with neighbors, friends, nieces and nephews.
The furthest family member came from Wellsboro to be at the party held on May 10 at Living Church on Daugherty's Run Road.

Tironie is surrounded by friends and family at her party held at The Living Church, 773 Daugherty’s Run Road.
Special guests at the party included Walt, English's husband, Tironie's only remaining sibling of nine, as well as Sandy Knipe, to whom Tironie was like a nanny.
About 45 guests attended the party, which English said was well worth the three months of planning.
"Without the Lord, I couldn't have done nothing at all," English said. "Everything came together."
Tironie is the wife of the late Bernard Tironie, whom she married when she was 55 years old. He worked in the tarp business and she worked for Sylvania, making light bulbs.
