Daryl A. Bockus, 82, of Watsontown and formerly of Wellsboro, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born January 1, 1932, in Wellsboro, a son of Alfred and Nora Ann (Cavanaugh) Bockus.
Daryl was the husband of the former Wanda E. Roosa, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
He was an U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War.
Daryl was a truck driver for Dietrich Milk Plant for over 20 years. He owned and operated the family dairy farm in Delmar Township.
Surviving besides his wife Wanda is a son, Steven D. (Rachael) Bockus, of Melbourne, Fla.; five daughters, Connie R. (Rick) Mounts, of Muncy, Linda K. (David) Westbrook, of Laporte, Patricia A. (William) Anderegg, of Wellsboro, Gale J. (Frank) Geyer, of Morris, and Sherry L. (Greg) Blackwell, of Morris; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Kennedy, of Wellsboro.
He was predeceased by two brothers Lyle and Mike Bockus.

Relatives and friends are invited to Daryl's Life Celebration service 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home" 139 Main St., Wellsboro, with Pastor Bruce Kennedy officiating. A visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m.
