Betty Jane Pennycoff, 82, of Cogan Station, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
Born April 21, 1932, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of Raymond W. and Pearl (Clemens) Brown.
She was a member of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church. Betty liked to stay busy around the house and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two children, David R. Pennycoff (Anita), of Williamsport, and Tammy J. Pennycoff, of Cogan Station; two step-children, Gary A. Pennycoff (Kathy), of Muncy and Diane Hess (Dave), of Montoursville; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence A. Pennycoff Jr., in 2013.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Mifflinburg. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer.
