Carmen Rauch Fisher Bittenbender, 88, formerly of Williamsport, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at her home in Leesburg, Fla.
Born Feb. 2, 1926, she was the daughter of Howard and Ernestine (Jacobs) Rauch. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Richard Rauch, and her husband, Clair Bittenbender. One brother, Robert Rauch, survives.
She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Leesburg. She also was a Grand Worthy Matron, order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by two sons, David Fisher, of Williamsport, and Herb Fisher, of Kresgeville; and three daughters, Carol George and Sharon Cress, both of Hughesville, and Tina Janosa, of Fruitland Park, Fla.
She also is survived by her cherished grandson, Aaron Janosa, five other grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at her church at a later date.
