City financial adviser ranked by magazine
Barbara B. Hudock, CEO and founding partner of Williamsport-based Hudock Moyer Wealth Resources has been ranked No. 59 on the 2014 Top 100 Women Financial Advisors list by Barron's Magazine.
The announcement, according to a news release, marks the seventh year Hudock has been ranked on the list as one of the most successful women financial advisers in the country. The scoring system assigns a top score of 100 and ranks the rest by comparing them with the top-ranked adviser nationwide. The annual "Barron's Top 100" rankings is an effort to recognize the nation's most successful women financial advisers on the basis of the volume of assets under management by them and their team, revenues generated for their firms and the adviser's quality of practice.
With nearly 40 years' experience in the financial services industry, Hudock also was recently ranked 14 out of the top 48 financial advisers in Pennsylvania on Barron's top 1000 adviser rankings by state and the highest-ranked woman out of three who were honored in the state on the 2014 list, the news release said. The recognition marks the fifth consecutive year Hudock has been named to the list. Rankings are based on data provided by the nation's most productive advisers, the news release said. Factors included in the rankings are assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work.
"These recognitions are a reflection of the entire team at Hudock Moyer - I call them "The Dream Team," Hudock said. "Our team is composed of amazing professionals with more than 300 years of combined wealth management experience who are individually and jointly committed to making a profound and positive difference in our firm, for our clients and in our community."
Forbes Magazine ranked Hudock Moyer Wealth Resources No. 1 of the Top 50 Wealth Managers1 on their "2013 Emerging RIA" list. Both Hudock and her firm have repeatedly been nationally recognized with a number of awards for their accomplishments within the industry and oversee approximately $525 million in assets under management.
