Barry L. Sholly, 58, of Williamsport, died peacefully at home on Aug. 15, 2014. He was a devoted and caring man and loved by all. He is survived by his wife, Lois Dudek, who he adored.
Barry was a jack-of-all trades and a hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, whom he barely left, and his family. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, racing, watching westerns and especially playing with his grandchildren.
In appearance he was a quiet soft spoken man who never had much to say, but he could also be a practical joker. He was a man of faith whose belief in God sustained him in his life.
In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by a son, Barry Sholly Jr., of Sunbury; two daughters, Linda Welch, of Williamsport, Robin Breen, of South Williamsport; five grandchildren, Trish (Chad) Allen, Justin (Andrea) Welch, Kurtis (Sabrina) Breen, Preston Breen, Courtney Sholly; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild due in January.
Services are entrusted to Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport, and are private at the convenience of the family.
