Sharon Lee (Gruver) and Wayne Rhone, of Watsontown, observed their 50th wedding anniversary June 20, 2014.
They were married by the Rev. Richard Dunlap at First United Methodist Church, Montgomery. They are members of First Baptist Church of Elimsport, Allenwood.
Mrs. Rhone, a native of Montgomery, is the daughter of the late Doris and Harold Gruver. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1962 and from Divine Providence Hospital School of Radiological Technology in 1964. She is a homemaker and X-ray technician.
Mr. Rhone, a native of Allenwood, is the son of Deanie Rhone, of Montgomery, and the late Stanley Rhone. He graduated from Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, in 1963 and retired in 2006 from Textron Lycoming as a gauge inspector.
They are the parents of a daughter, Melissa Holmes, of Watsontown, and three sons, Michael, of Cogan Station; Marcus, of Orangeville; and Matthew, of Wescosville.
There are 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary an open house was held at their home, Watsontown, on June 20.
