Should the law calling for an annual cost-of-living pay increase for state lawmakers be repealed?

  1. Yes, it's an abomination that they receive annual, automatic pay increases.
  2. No, it sets an objective foundation for the amount of the pay increase.

So.....if someone doesn't get a "cost of living" raise, is Obama going to step in and "spread the wealth"? Yeah, right, ask anyone on Social Security that question, haven't had a cost of living raise in 3 years!

Depends, are we talking about people that make $100,000 a year already or people that make barely enough to survive like most of us?

It really isn't a "pay increase", but a "pay adjustment." Everyone should be given cost of living adjustments to reflect inflation.
