Should city police and fire manpower be cut and benefits revised to help the City of Williamsport escape its current financial crisis with a minimal tax increase?

  1. We need the manpower we have but the benefits could be changed to something closer to what most people in the private sector have.
  2. If the cuts and revisions have to be made to get the city on sound financial footing they should be made, because I can't afford anymore in taxes.
  3. It's unfair to make cuts and single out the top city services - police and fire protection - to solve the problem.
