Your reaction to the removal of an assault-weapons from Senate gun control legislation?

  1. It was the correct call because banning assault will not solve the problems that are responsible for violent killings in the United States.
  2. It was the correct call strictly on right to bear arms Constitutional grounds.
  3. We needed the ban to cut down on violent gun crime in America.

There is no legitimate reason to need an assault record or magazine holding so much ammo unless you are a police agency. Ban them to save lives. Make it harder for criminals and crazy people to get access to these weapons!

While I think the NRA has personal agenda's, I think the decision was correct.

I believe banning (so called) assault weapons will not solve the problems that are responsible for violent killings in the United States AND It was the correct call on the right to bear arms Constitutional grounds. These killings (and I am assuming the poll is referring to mass murders) are more of a mental health issue than anything else.
