The person that wrote the question does something that Perry Mason might object to - assuming facts not in evidence. Are we sure that the only reason this administration was (is) doing this is to stop terrorists? Then why were mosques specifically omitted from this surveillance? As with everything else in this administration, what they tell us is very different than what they are doing.

Vince-To stop Terrorists and to monitor anyone who doesn't agree with them so they could be harassed or denied anything that could help them oppose Obamas views. Why would we monitor mosques? that would be "profiling" right?. My view- if it walks like a terrorist, talks like one, acts like one, looks like one, it probably is one! Common sense! right?, just what this administration lacks. This President is worthless in my view, he is an embarrassment to our great country. He must go.

oh FortySix democrat to the end!! you're well into the second term of the moron you voted for, stop putting the blame on Bush. Presidents all the way back to Washington used tactics to spy on it's own people. This isn't anything new. Only thing new is the technology and ease at which they can collect the data.

A traitor is "One who betrays one's country, a cause, or a trust, especially one who commits treason." Snowden has done none of these. He has given no aid nor comfort to US enemies. What he gave was a glimpse to the American people the Un-constituional activities of government against the American people. "The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land, and any statue, to be valid, must be in agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail." Sixteenth American Jurisprudence, Second Edition, Section 177. (late 2nd Ed. Section 256) It is Obama and NSA who are traitors to all America stands for, particularly the Fourth Amendment:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." Those who follow party dicta in labeling Snowden a traitor are simply ignorant of the founding principles and the organic laws. Ignorance of the supreme law is no excuse.
