Given the recent decision making in Washington, your attitude toward elected officials there is...

  1. Every elected Congressman and Senator should be voted out at the soonest opportunity.
  2. I am generally unhappy, but not necessarily with my own representatives and do understand why there was a temporary shutdown and resistance to Obamacare.
  3. Anyone who supported the temporary shutdown and resisted Obamacare should be voted out.
  4. President Obama's the biggest problem, resisting bargaining that could have improved Obamacare and instead relying on false, inflammatory fingerpointing that did nothing to help the situation.

Leaningright,I know it's old news but, FACTS are FACTS and a third term having G.W.Bush as our president would have sunk us for sure and then George could have hung his sign up, "Mission Accomplished"! You can't run from FACTS but, you can forget.

Here we go again, It is still George Bush thats the problem. That is really old, i thought you tired liberal democrats had better then that. The healthcare ship is slowly sinking and the democrats are bailing like rats over the side of the ship.

Leaningright, Demographics my friend is what the "Sun" polls show. If you look back on all the polls the "Sun" has had since President Obama has become our president, Obama is always on the short end of the stick. I already know what the polls are going to come up to, Obama will not win any of them, period! We live in a very "RED" area and "The Sun" is a very republican newspaper and I don't have to prove that, just read it. I don't have a problem with "TRUE" republicans, it's the destructive "Tea Party" that is taking this great country of ours down.Remember Nancy Reagan's slogan, "Just say No",well that is now the Tea Party's slogan, just say NO to everything President Obama wants to get done, everything! Just my opinion, President Obama is down in numbers because he can't get pass the Tea Party "NO" policy. We keep forgetting who got us into this mess, G.W.Bush! In order to destroy President Obama, the T

Mercury, you should love the USA because Obama is Fundamentally changing the USA, no doubt about that. He did not lie about that! 41% he is the problem Mercury, whats up with that? And only a 46% approval rating in the entire country. How about that?

Leaningright,Not sure by your reply to my comment I believe you missed my point. Since we are useing Mc'D as an example, the food stamp program and the abuse of big corporations sending employees to the Federal government (Welfare office) to get medical cards and food stamps doesn't set well with me. Not 100% sure of this fact (fact check)but, 99% of people receiving assistance from the food stamp program actually work but, your buddies,Big Business are taking advantage from it, and that's not the way it's suppose to work! A lot of people who work for these types of companies aren't the sharpest knife in the draw and many never had enough income to get in to a college. I think you have to come back to the REAL world to understand. I'm done. Nice "yanking chains with you!"

Term limits for ALL elected officials in Washington. The attitude that they are in control not the public may be adjusted and their feeling of entitlement might also be adjusted.

See the poll Mercury, Sorry if i sound brash and i dont mean to say that all people are worthless, but some really are and we need to figure out how to get these people out of poverty and working to improve their lives so they are not relying on us.It starts with good parents and good schools. No child brought into this world should be raised to think that somebody else will be taking care of them, they deserve better than that, they did not ask to be brought into this world and they can't pick their familys.

Sorry to bother you Mercury with my lame comments. Put all of your money in the stock market if you feel comfortable with that. Oh, and of course it is big business hurting everybody, thats what they do , right? A Mc Donalds worker is not going to make a living wage Mercury, they are going to get a minimum wage. Mc Donalds is supposed to be for young people who need part time work while they are in college learning for bigger and better things, I can't help that some people never took the opportunity that school offers and made something more of themselves, It's not supposed to be a lifetime job, wake up Mercury. Why not just tell everybody to slack off through school and then pop out a bunch of children they cannot afford and then cry for housing, food stamps, cell phones, healthcare, ect, ect, ect......this is why i dislike liberals. Some parents do not deserve to be parents and until the "chain" of worthless people pumping out what will be worthless children is broken this

Leaningright,First off I like your optimism about the stock market. If you took a poll and asked how many people making minimum wage have anything invested in the market. If by your view point it "crashes" I'm thinking people like the Koch brothers, and big business will take the hit, and friends of yours like Ted (Carnival) Cruz who is trying everything possible to shutdown the U.S. government will be the one to thank! The reason I believe there is getting to be a lot of part time workers is big business like McD's who make billions a year only hire part time because of not having to pay benefits and a "real" wage. They tell their employees to go to the Welfare dept. and get foodstamps and medical cards on the taxpayers dime.If the stockmarket is down it's Obama's fault,if the stockmarket is up,it's Obama's fault. I can't believe I'm commenting on your lame *** comment!

Mercury, the stock is propped up by billions of taxpayer dollars (Quantitative easing) and this will eventually hurt everybody as the gov't does not belong in the stock market. When it crashes, don't cry to us. The jobs created are low wage part time jobs and forget about the new healthcare because nobody can even sign up, and all indications are that the plans stink. He knows nothing, i am beginning to think his name is sgt schultz from Hogans heros! " I KNOW NOTHING!"

Again, It's President Obama's fault but, the guy still has a smile on his face and is going strong! Not bad for a man who has an army of nuts (Tea Party) trying to take him down. Any one thinking shutting down the government was a good idea should use their new health insurance and see a doctor right away! The stock market has doubled and has set a record, even the s&p market, unemployment is down and hopefully everyone will have health insurance by March and the Tea Party thinks this is bad? Anyone that backed shutting the government down doesn't belong in Congress, period!
