When President Obama repeated publicly promised Americans that they could keep their health insurance plans and doctors if they liked them with the Affordable Care Act. . .

  1. He misspoke and failed to include that the plans would have to meet the terms outlined in Obamacare.
  2. He was not informed by aides and architects of the law of all the details included in the massive bill.
  3. He deliberately lied, first to get the bill passed and secondly to get re-elected, knowing that the terms of Obamacare would dictate the cancellation of plans for millions of Americans.

"the GOP is stuck with "outlaws" like Cruz,Paul, and Cantnor who have stopped Washington from performing it's duties for the American people!"

Cruz, Paul and Cantor stopped them??? You got that wrong! The ONLY person STOPPING the democrat controlled SENATE from doing it's duty to the American people is HARRY REID!!!! And only a bold-faced prevaricator could say that's not a fact.

Who doesn't know poll results are based on who you poll. 70% will say the president lied if you call 20 people in a conservative region. If you call 20% in a liberal area 80% will say he misspoke or was not fully informed. Polls are only as good as the pollster. He had nothing to gain by lying and he is smart enough to know that it would be political suicide. His political advisers were able to win two national elections, it is unlikely they would allow dissemination of material that would destroy his legacy. IF, Hillary wins and healthcare is fixed, she will receive the credit for an overhaul she has wanted for decades. Something to think about.

Capricorn1: Yes, I'm sure President Obama or anyone wants to get in front of ALL America and lie. You know if you thought something was going to work smoothly but, turned out it didn't work quite the way you wanted and you told friends it will work would you be a liar just the way you speak of our President or you just hope people just thought you made a mistake thinking the "ACA" website was setup correctly, that insurance companies would tell people their policies were "junk" (pay a lot for little coverage) and now have to meet the standards of the "ACA" when they cancelled their policies. I agree the "ACA" needs to get the bugs out, like anything else that covers millions of people but, in your world everything is perfect. What is your problem with everyone having health coverage? I'm sure you will come back with the illegals will get it to but, one way or another you will pay for their emergency room visit. I'm done!

Mercury, you have every right to your opinion regarding this president, but the bottom line is it still doesn't explain away the deception he used on the American people in order to get what he wanted. And yes, who knows what the result of the last election would have been if this information was made public prior to the election. He stood in front of the cameras dozens of times and blatantly lied. Regardless of the accomplishments you feel he has made, he has just given Americans more reason not to trust him or their government. It should also give everyone pause as to what else has been covered up and lied about. Those so called scandals in the past suddenly don't seem so unbelievable.

You know you're right. It's just hard for me to hear some of the people that live in the greatest country on this planet to muck, belittle and try as hard as they can to discredit one of the greatest President this country has ever had putting a stop to TWO wars, avoiding a war with Syria, and now telling and getting an agreement from Iran to stop the nuclear program they had going. Here is a little more stock market is back up, housing is on the upside, unemployment has gone down and so on we go. Ok, now let me hear about, he wasn't born an American, he's not a Christian,he never went to Harvard,he's forcing people to have HEALTHCARE (I'm guess this has something to do with this poll),he doesn't salute the flag and so on we go. Ok, Let it fly!I'm done.

Mercury, all of your comments have absolutely nothing to do with this poll. You, like many liberals use deflection to take the spotlight off what's really going on with this legislation. You have absolutely no justification for the lies told to the American people by this administration regarding this legislation and other incidents in the past so you deflect to George Bush, the Tea Party and whatever other subject in a attempt to explain away reality. There is no other possible explanation except selection C and you have no way to refute that.

You're like my ex-wife, you don't forget anything doesn't matter if it was 20 years ago! What the he*l does this Rev. Wright have to do with healthcare? -Mercury

Read my comment again. I was answering your question regarding Obama wanting to destroy the country. And as far as Reverend Wright goes, my parish priest that I had growing up had a profound impact on me and my beliefs that I will hold true the rest of my life. That's what spiritual leaders do, they guide you in your beliefs. Oh and btw, Obama was a parishioner of Wright's parish until 2008, not 20 years ago.

Leaningright:So what you're saying is we need to keep wars going, stockmarket needs to go back to 6,000 and everyone that lose money on their 401k retirement plan back in 2007-08 but, have gained everything back as the stockmarket has set a new high which I'm only guessing people have got their loses back and are now making money, these are what you want? If President Obama was such a bad,do nothing President how did he get reelected? My opinion is if G.W. would have had another term we would be sharing a can of Spam! As far as the "red line" with Syria I think the President did outstanding, no boots on the ground, no body bags and the big one NO WAR!

A more accurate answer would be " He said the govt would not prevent continuation of existing policies, but all new insurance must have basic coverage including no denial for pre-existing conditions, no cancellation for illness, and limits to out-of-pocket expenses.

MECURY2 I don't believe Obama is out to "destroy the country". But I do believe Reverend Wright had a profound negative effect on the way Obama views this country. There's no way he could sit there listening to Wright's hateful anti-American rants for 20 years and it not have an effect. I find it curious that once it became public where Obama chose to worship throughout his life, suddenly he chooses to rarely attend any services at all. It makes it appear like that is the only place of worship that he truly believed in and that's troubling.

And I'll ask you again, why is President Obama trying to destroy our country? Just give me and all the Obama haters out there a reason. And also what does he gain by doing it? You have a pattern that you go to another subject and avoid the questions.
