When President Obama repeated publicly promised Americans that they could keep their health insurance plans and doctors if they liked them with the Affordable Care Act. . .

  1. He misspoke and failed to include that the plans would have to meet the terms outlined in Obamacare.
  2. He was not informed by aides and architects of the law of all the details included in the massive bill.
  3. He deliberately lied, first to get the bill passed and secondly to get re-elected, knowing that the terms of Obamacare would dictate the cancellation of plans for millions of Americans.

In the "Real World" people would be fired or held responsible, this President just pays out more of our tax dollars to fix the mess which isn't going to work anyways. STAY OUT OF OUR HEALTHCARE OBAMA AND DEMOCRATS!

Selection A is a weak excuse because if that was the case he "misspoke" with the same "guarantee" dozens of times.

Selection B is also a weak excuse because he is then admitting that he, along with congressional democrats had no idea what was in this legislation before signing it into law. That alone is extremely troubling if it was true. But I refuse to believe something as important as millions of people losing their policies would be "overlooked".

The ONLY possible conclusion is selection C and that just adds to the mistrust this nation has in our government.

Thinblueline & Leaningright:I'm guessing you're not one of the 40 million Americans who don't have healthcare, right? Talking about 'Impeachment",how'd we miss G.W. Bush, two unnecessary wars (I don't want to mention bodybags),he "tanked" the economy, unemployment went up big time, the "market" dropped like a rock and so on. Answer me this, why would President Obama try to hurt the American people and what reward will he get from doing it? The "Tea Party" are the ones destroying this country and a blind person can SEE that! Can't wait for the "wack'o" comments!

Mercury, cmon now, leave GWB out of this, really tired of libs blaming him for Obamas woes. Does Obama take responsibilty for anything? I have insurance Merc (for know until the ACA screws it up). Hey, How many of the 40 million you talk about are even legal citizens of this country Merc? Why dont we just figure out how to insure the uninsured and leave everybody else alone? Remember Merc, I am not a tea party member and do not agree with them but you have to admit that Ted Cruz doesn't look so crazy as the left made him out to be before all of this went down. Obama doesn't care about any reward, he is just bent on the destruction of the republican party, a fight he should not have undertaken.

I would take that one step further I think he is set to destroy the country as a whole and is doing a good job.

Leaningright:No, We can't leave G.W. out of this conversation, I'm like you I would like to forget about him to but,the record shows what happen during his terms in office and all you have to do is read it,very simple and you or me can't change those FACTS. And I'll ask you again, why is President Obama trying to destroy our country? Just give me and all the Obama haters out there a reason. And also what does he gain by doing it? You have a pattern that you go to another subject and avoid the questions.

MECURY2 I don't believe Obama is out to "destroy the country". But I do believe Reverend Wright had a profound negative effect on the way Obama views this country. There's no way he could sit there listening to Wright's hateful anti-American rants for 20 years and it not have an effect. I find it curious that once it became public where Obama chose to worship throughout his life, suddenly he chooses to rarely attend any services at all. It makes it appear like that is the only place of worship that he truly believed in and that's troubling.

SunGazette - will you ever have a "fair and balanced" choice that does not reflect negatively on our president? A little respect would promote civil discussions instead of throwing crap at each other. But I suppose that doesn't sell papers.

Chas56, what is not fair about this poll? A and B are both excuses I have heard from liberals when trying to explain away the deception of this administration. I think this is one of the more balanced polls that the SG has done.

The world sees that he has lied and and can not be trusted. We are sinking as a respected leader of the FREE world. Who will be there to pick up the pieces? Russia maybe China.

A more accurate answer would be " He said the govt would not prevent continuation of existing policies, but all new insurance must have basic coverage including no denial for pre-existing conditions, no cancellation for illness, and limits to out-of-pocket expenses.

hopeforfuture: Again you avoid answering my questions. If only more of the GOP was like Gov. Christie Washington would run a lot better but, the GOP is stuck with "outlaws" like Cruz,Paul, and Cantnor who have stopped Washington from performing it's duties for the American people! They want to take the President down but, they want to sink the ship with everyone aboard and this is what is wrong with Washington not President Obama. Commonsense will win in the end and you can take that to the bank!

If President Obama was such a bad,do nothing President how did he get reelected? My opinion is if G.W. would have had another term we would be sharing a can of Spam! As far as the "red line" with Syria I think the President did outstanding, no boots on the ground, no body bags and the big one NO WAR!

Read my comment again. I was answering your question regarding Obama wanting to destroy the country. And as far as Reverend Wright goes, my parish priest that I had growing up had a profound impact on me and my beliefs that I will hold true the rest of my life. That's what spiritual leaders do, they guide you in your beliefs. Oh and btw, Obama was a parishioner of Wright's parish until 2008, not 20 years ago.
