We should be boycotting the olympics until Russia returns Snowden.

Ask yourself this, if they had this much intelligence about possible terrorist attacks for the Boston marathon, do you think the authorities would cancel it? Or how about the Super Bowl?.........Cap

No, and No. At what point do we stop cancelling things because of threats. The Superbowl was fine and there were many threats made towards that. What if they would have cancelled it. Somwhere there would be a scumb bag sitting in his bunker grinning ear to ear

Let's be real here. The United States government is the biggest terrorist in the world. 900+ military bases around the world is not for your "freedom" it's for an empire. Time to wake up. Any terrorist attack that happens likely happens with the oversight of some ******* at the CIA or FBI.*****Osama Bin Laden has been dead since 2002. He had kidney problems. They used him in the late 70's to bring down the Soviet Union. Any attack that happens is used to advance some kind of agenda for the so called elite. 9/11 resulted in the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. And more recently Sandy Hook was used as an excuse for gun control. Need I remind you what happened with gun control in Nazi Germany? If these are looked into they can easily be picked apart by any half intelligent person.

"I think it's going to depend on the State Department to analyze the intelligence and make an informed decision."-Capricorn

Is that what they are supposed to be doing ? Im thinking that I would not want the State department making any decisions regarding my life or safety. Remember Benghazi.

Ask yourself this, if they had this much intelligence about possible terrorist attacks for the Boston marathon, do you think the authorities would cancel it? Or how about the Super Bowl? I'll be the first one to say that we shouldn't give in to terrorists, but if they do in fact have credible threats and are unable to thwart any action before the games, does the U.S. really want to put their athletes, families, media and other Americans in harms way knowing there are credible threats? You're talking thousands of lives. What would the American public say if an attack did happen and hundreds of lives were lost? It's a much more complicated decision than we're not going to be afraid of terrorists. I think it's going to depend on the State Department to analyze the intelligence and make an informed decision.

I think it should be up to the individual athletes whether or not they attend.

I think it would be better for the news cycle if AMERICA boycotted. We can have our own Olympics here in the US and take every medal. In fact, we should have a US only olympics where athletes compete for the states.

What's the next thing we should cancel because a bunch of subhuman scum tell us to? The Super Bowl? Fourth of July celebrations? Christmas sales at Walmart?

Why put yourself in harms way if you've been warned? I guess if it's worth getting killed for then you most love your sport more then life. With a gold medal being worth $650 if you are the best it's hardly worth it.
