Williamsport Snyder grad earns diving honor

TOWSON, Md. — Marywood University senior Courtney Snyder, a Williamsport grad, was selected the Landmark Conference Co-Diver of the Year, officials announced Tuesday. Snyder captured both first-team and second-team honors for her performance this week at the Landmark Swimming and Diving Championships.

Snyder received the program’s first major Landmark Conference award with the Co-Diver of the Year that she shares with Drew University’s Jenny Stein. Snyder won the 3-meter dive to earn first team and earned a silver medal in the 1-meter dive to capture second team honors.

She dove a 402.30 on her final dive on Friday to send her to the top of the podium for Marywood’s first diving title in school history.
