Golf tip of the week: Knees toward each other for balance
Maintaining balance is a one of the crucial elements in the golf swing. To improve balance, simply push the knees toward each other, as if you had a basketball between your knees. It is very similar to standing on skis or preparing to lift weights.
If done properly you should feel pressure on the insides of your feet.
Maintaining slight pressure on the insides of the feet will also create more power and aid in utilizing the legs, which will improve accuracy.
Keep it simple; a good setup can be compared to setting up to the foul line when shooting a free throw. The body squares up to the basket, in golf the body squares up to the target line.
Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
