Pay little attention to advice from your playing partners
Most golfers are very quick to give advice on how to hit a golf ball. The problem is most golfers have enough problems dealing with their own swing.
A good player may hit the ball great, a top notch musician may be able to play a piano at the concert level; but in most cases they lack communication skills.
A successful golf instructor must be able to convey the proper information to that particular person.
Everyone is different; in fact there are five different golfers; one thinks different than the other four.
A good instructor must be able identify and communicate with each and every person. The most common mistake with any instructor is taking the easy route. By teaching the student how the instructor hits the ball. With that mentality the instructor will only be successful with one fifth of his/her students.
Regardless the subject matter one must pay close attention the simple basics.
