Montoursville shuts out Milton in a rout

Brycen Mussina was perfect through the air, going 6 for 6 for 167 yards and four touchdown passes as Montoursville rolled to a 49-0 win over Milton, bouncing back a week after falling to Southern Columbia.

Montoursville’s (7-1) defense got two interceptions, one each from Anthony Washington and Charlie Steinbacher.

The Warriors led 21-0 after the first quarter thanks to 16-yard and 76-yard touchdown passes to Tom Shea within a 2-minute span. Mitchell Rothrock then reeled in a 22-yard pass with 3:36 to play in the first quarter.

Montoursville’s Riley Conboy caught Mussina’s final touchdown pass 10 seconds into the second quarter before Nolan Ott, Torin Lewis and Aiden Milheim all scored on the ground in order to give the Warriors the 49-0 lead.

Montoursville took a 42-0 lead into the half.

North?Penn-Mansfield shut out Cowanesque Valley, 35-0. Kipper Hillson ran for two touchdowns and Brock Burleigh completed 13 of 17 passes for 172 yards and a score.

Muncy held Bucktail to minus-15 yards rushing in a 41-0 victory. Coleman Good was 8 for 8 in passing for 151 yards and three touchdowns.

Wellsboro scored 36 points in the second quarter of a 62-6 win over Montgomery. Brent English’s five-yard score in the fourth quarter was the only Wellsboro touchdown under 25 yards. Keith Habersham scored on a pass from Brayden Strouse for Montgomery.
