Lyco’s Lazarich earns second-team

After a season in which she set school record for single-season goals and points, junior Jordan Lazarich has earned second-team All-MAC Commonwealth honors, the conference office announced on Thursday.

Lazarich, who was a second-team all-conference pick in 2014 before earning honorable mention honors in 2015, finished her junior year with 19 goals and 40 points. The 5-7 forward won two MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week honors during the season, scoring two goals and an assist in a 3-2 win over Lebanon Valley to earn it on Oct. 24, and posting back-to-back hat tricks against Summit and Pitt-Bradford, on Sept. 6, a feat that also helped her earn the NSCAA National Division III Player of the Week award.

She made an impact on a national level, leading the nation in goals heading into October.
