WHS grad Weber earns honors at SFU

Saint Francis sophomore Hannah Weber, a Williamsport grad, was recently named the Female Track and Athlete of the Week for the Red Flash, when she ran an NEC leading time of 2:14.47 in the 800.

Weber then bested her own mark in the 800 not long after by setting a new PR at the Colonial Relays at William and Mary on April 1.

The former Williamsport runner also helped Saint Francis set a school record. She was part of Saint Francis’ 4×1,500-meter relay team, which set a school record in 19:15.25 to finish eighth at the Colonial Relays.

Weber won district gold medals at the District 4 track and field championships her junior and senior seasons in the 800 and 1,600. During her senior year in 2015, Weber broke former Williamsport track runner Yolanda Washington’s district record in the 800 in 1989 by roughly three seconds.
