Lufkin, Texas, won the Southwest regional earlier in the week to reach the Little League World Series.

The final seven spots for the Little League World Series are to be determined today, with the six United States games as part of a sextupleheader on ESPN and the Canadian regional ending in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

There are three on-site doubleheaders at Little League regional sites in West­field, Ind., Bristol, Conn., and San Ber­nardino, Calif.

The U.S. action begins with the Midwest regional final in Westfield between Webb City, Mo., and Sioux Falls, S.D.

The New England regional fol­lows at 1 between South Port­land, Maine, and Fairfield, Conn., at Bristol.

Then it’s the Northwest re­gional final from San Bern­ar­dino at 3 between La Grande, Ore., and Walla Walla, Wash.

The Great Lakes regional in Westfield follows at 5 between Grosse Pointe, Mich., and Hins­dale, Ill.

The Mid-Atlantic wraps up at 7 in Bristol between Holbrook., N.J., and Thurmont, Md.

The last U.S. game is at 9 from San Bernardino when Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and St. George, Utah, play for the West title.

The Canada region final starts at noon, EDT, between White Rock, B.C., and Mirabel, Quebec.

The Little League World Series runs Aug. 17-27 at Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums.

U.S. berths already decided are Greenville, N.C. (Southeast) and Lufkin, Texas (Southwest).

International teams qualified are Seoul, South Korea (Asia-Pacific), Sydney (Australia), Los Bravos de Pontezuela of the Dominican Republic (Carib­bean), Emilia, Italy (Europe and Africa), Tokyo Kitasuna (Ja­pan), Maracaibo, Venezuela (Latin America), and Guadalupe Trevino Kelly LL of Tamaulipas (Mexico).
