Local roundup: Lock Haven men’s soccer tops Shepherd

In men’s soccer, Reggie Holt scored two goals to spark a five goal effort and the Bald Eagles turned in a workmanlike effort on the way to Lock Haven’s 5-3 win over visiting Shepherd. Along with Holt, Lock Haven also got goals from Andrew Moore, Beckham Sibiski and Tyler Shumaker.

• In women’s soccer, Meghan Holtz and Brianna Kropinack, the two late-game goal-scorers in Sunday’s 2-1 overtime victory over Rider, were honored Monday with weekly awards from the Patriot League. Holtz was named Corvias Patriot League Midfielder of the Week, while Kropinack was picked as the Corvias Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
